Today a man came into McDonald's. He asked how to pronounce my name and when I told him he was like, "Wow, I've never heard it pronounced that way before." Then he asked about its origin, and when I told him it was Russian he got really excited. He was half-Russian, too, and we shared a fist bump because of that. Seriously, highlight of my McDonald's career.
I also got a piece of paper for a free dessert because I had a perfect drawer in deep end. (Translation: I worked in the back drive thru/the one you pay at one day and my cash register had exactly the right amount of money in it when I left it so I got a reward for that.)
This week is People Week so all sorts of nice things are going on. Yesterday we got to make our own sundaes (with like, strawberry syrup and cherries and M&Ms and stuff), and today there were cupcakes for the July, August, and September birthdays. Those were some mighty fine cupcakes.
